Well, it's not planned.. but it's happening!
Kiki is due approximately August 12th - we will ultrasound or x-ray to determine the number of puppies expected.
Ben-Ben's hips and elbows will be OFA x-rayed once the pups are born, and Kiki will have her OFA x-rays when the pups are 12 weeks old. Eyes will be CERF'd as well closer to the time.
Pups are $1000.00 with limited registration through AKC, microchipped and will have their first shots as well as receive a 'rebate' upon proof of OFA xrays and CERF being submitted once 2 years old.
Show homes welcome on co-ownership through AKC.
All pups will go through the ENS program (early neurological stimulation) from Day 3 to Day 16.
Both Ben and Kiki have rock solid temperaments. Both are living on the farm and can be trusted around small animals as well as people. Ben is a big powerfully built male, with a super sweet temperament and a laid back and calm manner. Kiki is very persistent, sweet-natured and is a well-built girl. Both are extremely athletic. I expect the puppies to exhibit the same calm and stable temperaments as their parents, with a range of drive. The pedigree of the pups shows many conformation champions, but, more importantly for my breeding plan, many working dog titles. The parents are not noise sensitive and both react appropriately to strangers.
Inquiries welcome!

Today the pups will start the Bio Sensor (Early Neurological Stimulation program) until Day 16.
Five benefits have been observed in canines that were exposed to the Bio Sensor
stimulation exercises. The benefits noted were:
1. Improved cardio vascular performance (heart rate)
2. Stronger heart beats,
3. Stronger adrenal glands,
4. More tolerance to stress, and
5. Greater resistance to disease.

All clean and tired out from play - it's about the only time I can get a picture of the pups without the pictures being totally blurred!
08/13/2013
This has been a surprise right from the beginning.
Kiki just turned 2 and I planned to health test both her and Ben-Ben
after her season. Wellllllllll.... she didn't appear to be coming
into season along with the other girls, no swelling, no bleeding, boys
didn't show any interest until I walked out one night and found her
tied with Ben-Ben. I did contact both MAT and Cheryl and was prepared
to spay her since the health tests hadn't been done. The ladies felt
it wasn't necessary, and no-one thought she'd have more than perhaps 3
or 4 pups max.
Right.
We forgot to inform Kiki of that.
Today, she gave birth to 8 (EIGHT) healthy lively pups (2 sable/grey, 6 red). I know there
are 3 males so far, and that the firstborn is a girl. It got a little
hectic after the first birth when she was figuring out what to do.
Once she got the hang of it, she spat them out literally on the heels
of each other.
Mother and pups are resting comfortably all cleaned up. Tomorrow I'll
weight and sex and take pictures and mark who is who.
Ben will go in for his hips and elbows at the end of the month, and
Kiki will get her xrays as soon as my vet says she can, which I think
is when the pups are 12 weeks old. This is NOT what I planned - my
plan was for this litter to happen next year after Kiki has some
points etc. Oh well.
So, anyone got any ideas on what litter theme to use?
